Free Parent Coaching
Parent coaches are professionals who listen with compassion to a parent’s concerns and address specific parenting struggles. Coaches help parents find effective strategies to find clarity with a parenting plan and supports the parents while they practice the plan. A parent coach gives customized support and advice based on each individual family’s needs. A parent coach is not a therapist.
Parent Education CLASSES
Parent education programs focus on enhancing parenting practices and behaviors, such as developing and practicing positive discipline techniques, learning age-appropriate child development skills and milestones, promoting positive play and interaction between parents and children, and locating and accessing community services and supports. The following programs and resources have been useful in supporting parents and strengthening parenting skills.
