ChildSharing offers online co-parenting classes for adults who are raising children between two homes (due to family transitions such as divorce, separation and remarriage) and who are interested in learning better co-parenting and coping skills. These 4-hour online co-parenting classes meet national standards for court mandated programs and parents will receive a Certificate of Completion.

Loving Solutions is a 7-week class for parents of strong-willed and impulsive children ages 5 to 10 years. Don’t ignore behaviors that you hope the children will outgrow. Learn concrete strategies to bring rapid positive behavioral change to reduce family conflict, improve the parent-child relationship and improve children’s school performance. Classes provide both emotional and practical support to parents struggling to raise difficult younger children. Facilitated by Jackie Garza and Mary Squellati (English classes) and Jackie Garza and Alma Cheek (Spanish classes).

End parent-child arguments forever, improve school attendance and performance, prevent or intervene in alcohol and other drug use, and find resources to help. Classes provide both emotional and practical support for parents struggling to raise adolescents. In this class, you will learn how to: improve family communication, establish effective discipline methods, create a better relationship with your child(ren), implement drug prevention strategies, and much more! The class uses Systematic Training For Effective Parenting, an established program that has been used for more than 40 years.

P.O.P.S. groups are led by licensed Marriage and Family Therapists and designed for parents with a child 11 years or younger. Goals include: strengthening family communication, increasing positive father-child involvement, identifying family stressors, and improving the quality of the parents’ relationship (which benefits the child).

Paso Robles P.O.P.S. flyer 2010
An excellent opportunity for parents and their children ages 6-11 years old to focus on parenting skills, child social/life skills, family relationship skills, and to gain new communication tools. This 14-week program includes skill building and education for dealing with challenging behaviors, substance use and anger, as parents learn problem-solving skills and how to strengthen family bonds. The program provides transportation, dinner, and fun family activities.
DATES: Next session starts September 23rd (Thursday). The class is held on Thursday night, for 14 consecutive weeks.
